Downloading MileMate

Because MileMate is database intensive, it uses many standard Windows components for storing and working with data. In addition, it is built on the Visual Basic development platform. In order to run, your computer must have the standard Windows components for data and Visual Basic working on your system.

As Windows has become more popular and more and more developers are using it as a development platform, Microsoft began including these components as part of their operating system. This inclusion aids developers and consumers alike because it requires smaller downloads for consumer software like MileMate and provides a more integrated approach for installing and using software.

If you have Windows 2000, Windows XP or Microsoft Access 2000, you have the underlying components required by MileMate These components include:

• MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) 2.1 or Higher
• Visual Basic Runtime Files

If you are computer savvy and know you have these components on your system, you only need to download the Windows 2000/XP version of the installation. If you do not or are in any way not sure, please select the complete installation contained in the Windows 9.x version of the download.
